A fast moving low pressure center brought a mix of winter precipitation to the upper Ohio Valley. Freezing rain accumulations of over one quarter inch occurred across portions of Tucker county West Virginia and Garrett county Maryland. A light coating of freezing rain mixed with sleet fell over eastern Ohio and the remainder of northern West Virginia. Across western Pennsylvania light mixed freezing rain, sleet and snow produced up to one tenth of an inch of ice with 1 to 2 inches of snow.
