A pair a weak slow moving upper level waves following in the wake of the winter storm system on the 20th and 21st produced a nearly continuous round of snowfall for the northern high terrain. Areas above 9000 feet particularly at resort level picked up an additional 12 to 24 inches of new snow on top of the previous heavy snowfall from the 20-21st while lower terrain areas received an additional 4 to 8 inches. The most significant impacts with this system were generally over the high terrain resort areas and had little impact on travel outside of high mountain passes.
