Another bout of lake effect snow, thanks to cold north-northwest winds. Lake effect snow was heavy at times in Grand Traverse, western Kalkaska, and western Antrim Counties, especially on the night of the 26th. Snowfall amounts of 8 to 12 inches were common, with Central Lake receiving the largest amount at 12 inches.
