Lake effect snow bands set up over northern and eastern portions of the county during the late evening hours of November 26th and continued through the afternoon and early evening hours of November 27th. Snowfall totals ranged from less than an inch in far southwest Berrien County to between 8 and 16 inches across northern and eastern portions of the county. Reduced visibilities, with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour at times, created hazardous driving conditions across the area. Accidents and slide-offs were reported across the region.
