Spotters in Freda and Calumet measured three to four inches of lake effect snow in approximately 12 hours. The spotter in Freda reported northwest winds gusting over 30 mph with blowing snow.
The observer in Mohawk measured 4.5 inches of lake effect snow in 12 hours while a spotter in Eagle Harbor estimated five to six inches of snow in approximately ten hours.
The spotter near Shingleton measured nearly seven inches of lake effect snow in approximately 12 hours. Northwest winds gusting over 30 mph at times also caused blowing snow and reduced visibility during the event.
A spotter near Grand Marais measured six inches of lake effect snow in 12 hours.
