Spotters throughout Gogebic County measured between two and four inches of wet snow over an approximate five hour period. Snow was mixed with sleet at times before changing over to rain or freezing rain later in the evening. The mixed precipitation caused a two-hour delay at Watersmeet Schools on the 15th and closed the Gogebic County Community College.

A widespread two to four inches of wet snow occurred throughout the county during the evening of the 14th before the precipitation changed over to rain and freezing rain early on the 15th. The observer near Pelkie reported branches broken off of white pine tree on property due to ice accumulation. The mixed precipitation forced a two-hour delay at many area schools on the 15th.

There was a report of an estimated 4.5 inches of heavy wet snow and sleet near Big Bay during the evening of the 14th. The National Weather Service in Negaunee Township measured 2.7 inches of wet snow along with a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation from freezing rain.
