A spotter south of Walton measured 1.5 inches of snow. The Cincinnati airport measured 1.1 inches. Late Thursday, Interstate 75 was shut down northbound in Boone County at the I-71/I-75 split and reopened just after 11:30 p.m. Interstate 275 in Boone County was shut down at mile marker 11 near Hebron. The highway was closed in both directions because of the accidents. The bridge across the Ohio River at the Kentucky-Indiana border was also closed.
