High temperatures across much of the county reached 95 to 100 degrees each day. The high temperature at the Binghamton airport reached 95 degrees on July 21st, breaking the previous record of 91 set in 1955. An all time high minimum temperature record was set on the 22nd with a minimum temperatures of 77 degrees. The three day period July 21st to 23rd was the warmest on record, with an average of 83.3 degrees. All three days had minimum temperatures of 70 degrees or more, and tied for third for the greatest number of consecutive days with lows of at least 70 degrees.
