Burgess Junction and surrounding area received 12 to 24 inches of snow.
An early Spring storm system moved across the Northern Rockies bringing widespread precipitation to the Billings Forecast Area. The precipitation began as a mix of rain and snow but quickly changed to all snow during the early morning hours across the Big Horn Mountains.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.
