Widespread snow fell on Valentine's Day, and continued into the next day. Cold north winds blew across Lake Superior, enhancing the snow across the northwest Wisconsin snow belt. While only 2 to 4 inches of snow fell across the Arrowhead of Minnesota, and much of northwest Wisconsin, up to 18 inches fell in the Gogebic Range of Iron County.
