An upper level low tracked across the region resulting in heavy snow across mainly northeast Tennessee and the Cumberland Plateau. The heaviest snow fell over the higher elevations where up to 6 inches of snow was reported. From 1 to 4 inches of snow was reported across the Cumberland Plateau and the valley.
