Snow showers developed in a warm advection zone during the early morning hours on the 14th. The snow showers mixed at times with rainfall before changing to all rain by late morning. Quick bursts of moderate to heavy snow were reported resulting in isolated accumulation of 1 to 2 inches in southern middle Tennessee, especially atop the Cumberland Plateau.
