An upper low off the southeast coast triggered scattered thunderstorms during the late evening hours over the Upstate. The storms produced a little hail and quite a bit of wind damage in Greenwood County.

Numerous trees were blown down from the Hodges and Cokesbury area south to near Greenwood. The hardest hit areas were in the vicinity Clifton St, Pope St, Deadfall Rd, and Carlton St. Two trees fell on and damaged homes on Carlton St. Numerous power outages also occurred.
Trees were blown down in the Salak Rd area.
