A US Forest Service employee observed a small tornado that briefly touched the ground west of Greencreek. There was substantial damage to the roof of a barn off New Hope Road, south side of Lawyers Canyon, about 3.5 miles from Ferdinand. There was an incredible amount of topsoil movement and severe erosion down onto a private access road, plugging several culverts. The sediment was backed up 2 to 3 feet high for 10 to 15 feet behind the culvert.
