Four apartments were flooded in an apartment building at 17255 SW 95 Ave in Palmetto Bay. Heavy early morning rain caused the roof of the building to collapse, sending water into the units.
Rainfall amounts in the area were generally in the 3 to 4 inch range through the event.
The roof of a condominium complex at 3531 SW 10 Street collapsed during heavy early morning rain, causing water to enter all 24 units. The roof had been under repair but was not covered when the heavy rain occurred.
