Snowman Summit at 4478 feet reported 0.95 inches of water in roughly a 20 hour period. Air and road temperatures were near freezing. Using a 10 to 1 snow ratio, warning criteria was met at roughly 14/2345 PST. In addition, Mt. Shasta Ski Park reported 8 inches of new snow on the 16th which further backs up that warning criteria levels were met for CAZ082. The Castle Lake station at 5870 feet reported about 12 inches of snow during the overnight hours as well. The Mt. Shasta Avalanche Center reported that most of their stations, which are above 6000 feet, reported 13-18 inches of snow, and a rain gage in Mt. Shasta City recorded 2.11 inches of rain.
