On the north fork of the Yellowbank Creek southeast of Milbank, a woman died when she went around a barricaded road with her car in the early morning hours of the 12th. Her car was found 200 yards from the road.
As the offices recorded each death: direct deaths were caused by the weather itself, indirect ones by something it set in motion.
