What happened

The episode as NWS PHI wrote it up.

Some intermittent light sleet and freezing rain fell across the higher terrain of the Poconos from late in the afternoon on the 26th into the early morning of the 27th. There was no sleet accumulation and ice accretions were less than five hundredths of an inch. Untreated roadways though were slippery. The light precipitation was caused by a warm front that was bringing warmer air into the region from the central Appalachians and Ohio Valley.
