Low pressure moved northeast from the Ohio River Valley and into New England, spreading heavy rain over the region. Rainfall began on the afternoon of the 28th and ended 24 hours later. Rainfall amounts ranged from 2 to 4 inches. The heavy rain was enough to cause minor flooding on the Saco and Pemigewasset Rivers.
