A warm front moved across the area ahead of a major winter storm. Light freezing rain intensified to produce significant freezing rain for this region. Accumulations ranged from a tenth of an inch to a quarter of an inch of rain. Roads north, south, east and west of Wolf Point were listed on the Montana Department of Transportation road reports as being covered in black ice. There were numerous reports of cars sliding off of the road.
