CAPE CANAVERAL TO A LITTLE NORTH OF PORT CHARLOTTE WITH THE ACTUAL
FRONT STILL BACK IN NORTHERN SECTIONS OF FL. THE BOUNDARIES ARE
STILL ON SCHEDULE AND THE TROUGH WILL MOVE IN TODAY FOLLOWED BY THE

RIP CURRENTS: SOUTHEAST TO SOUTH WINDS AROUND 15 KNOTS COMBINED WITH
LOW TIDES WILL LEAD TO A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT THE BEACHES
OF PALM BEACH, BROWARD AND MIAMI DADE COUNTIES TODAY.

THUNDERSTORMS: WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY
AND THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT RISK OF LIGHTNING.

GULF STREAM SEAS WILL REBUILD TO AROUND 7 FEET MONDAY THROUGH

Rip currents nearly drowned a 62-year-old woman visiting from Montreal. The woman was swimming behind the Ocean Colony Condominiums in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea when she was caught in a rip current. A resident of the condominium complex ran out to the beach and rescued the woman. She was attended to by rescue personnel on shore, but did not go to the hospital.
