3 hail, 2 thunderstorm wind. Local standard time, as filed.
Quarter size hail fell.
Nickel size hail fell at the intersection of SR 151 and South Center Road near the Darlington Drag Strip. Hail also fell northwest of town.
Strong storms produced half dollar size hail over a wide area. In addition to large hail, strong winds blew an ornamental pear tree down and a camper shell was blown across the roadway. Power lines were also blown down.
A 61 mph wind gust blew down a billboard on Interstate 20. The wind gust was measured by a spotter.
A large tree was blown down on Cashua Ferry Road.
