What happened

The episode as NWS BUF wrote it up.

Low pressure developed over the southeast U.S. and moved northeast to the Delaware coast. The low rapidly intensified and circulated abundant Atlantic moisture back across New York. This combined with an unseasonably cold airmass across the region set the stage for a late season snowstorm across northern and central New York. Snowfall totals included: Montezuma 12 ; Livonia 9 ; Adams, Turin, West Monroe and Oswego 7 ; and Bristol 15 .
