.DISCUSSION...WV INDICATING A WEAK UPPER S/W PENETRATING THROUGH
NORCAL AT THIS TIME. THIS WILL KEEP ONSHORE P-GRADS UP THROUGH
TONIGHT WITH BREEZY TO LOCALLY WINDY CONDITIONS CONTINUING OVER
THE KERN MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. SOME UPSLOPE CLOUDS HAVE FORMED
ALONG THE WEST FACING SLOPES OF THE SOUTHERN SIERRA NEVADA AND
TEHACHAPI MOUNTAINS. HOWEVER...SAT LOOPS ARE INDICATING A LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM POISED TO MOVE INTO THE PAC NW THIS EVENING...BRINGING
A DEFORMATION ZONE THROUGH CENTRAL CA WHICH WILL BREAK UP THE
STRATO-CUMULUS OVERNIGHT. 12Z WRF/NGM/GFS AGREE IN DRY HIGH
PRESSURE BUILDING INTO CENTRAL CA ON MONDAY WHICH WILL HELP KEEP
TEMPS A BIT ABOVE CLIMO. TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY LOOK TO BE A BIT
TRICKIER AS THE MODELS ARE HAVING DIFFICULTY AT HANDLING THE
MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER TROUGH WHICH IS EXPECTED TO
CROSS THE WESTERN CONUS ON WEDNESDAY. SATELLITE COMPOSITE
INDICATING A FAST UPPER WESTERLY FLOW OVER THE PACIFIC WHICH WILL
LIKELY BRING THIS SYSTEM INTO OUR AREA AHEAD OF SCHEDULE...AND OUT
OF OUR AREA AHEAD OF SCHEDULE AS WELL. HAVE KEPT THE SLIGHT CHANCE
TO CHANCE POPS GOING FOR WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...AND HAVE
MOVED THE THE START PERIOD IN THE GRIDS UP A FEW HOURS ON
WEDNESDAY TO ACCOUNT FOR THE FASTER TIMING. HAVE ALSO KEPT MENTION
OF ISOLATED SHOWERS OVER THE SOUTHERN SIERRA NEVADA ON THURSDAY
WITH A VORT DROPPING DOWN BEHIND THE TROUGH AND TAKING AN INSIDE
SLIDER TRAJECTORY EAST OF THE SOUTHERN SIERRA NEVADA CREST. ALTHOUGH
THE AMOUNT OF MOISTURE WITH THIS SYSTEM THAT WILL AFFECT OUR AREA
REMAINS IN LIMBO...GUIDANCE IS INDICATING TEMPS WILL LOWER TO
BELOW CLIMO BY WEDNESDAY AS A COOLER AIRMASS PUSHES INTO CENTRAL
CA. CONTINUED STRENGTHENING OF ONSHORE P-GRADS WILL ALSO RESULT IN
WINDY CONDITIONS FOR THE KERN MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS AND THE THE
MOST PRESSING CONCERN AT THIS TIME IS THAT A HIGH WIND WARNING OR
A WIND ADVISORY MIGHT BE NEEDED FOR THESE AREAS BY MIDWEEK. BY
THURSDAY NIGHT ANOTHER DRY UPPER RIDGE IS PROGGED TO BUILD INTO
CA WHICH WILL ALLOW FOR TEMPS TO REBOUND SOME. GFS/ECMWF/GEM ALL
INDICATE ANOTHER FAST MOVING TROUGH PUSHES INTO THE WESTERN CONUS
ON SATURDAY ALTHOUGH THIS ONE IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE AS AMPLIFIED
AS THE MIDWEEK SYSTEM AND THE MAIN ENERGY FROM IT IS EXPECTED TO
BE FURTHER NORTH SO EXPECT THE DEEPER MOISTURE AND UVM TO REMAIN
NORTH OF OUR CWFA. DO EXPECT INCREASING CLOUDS AND COOLER
TEMPERATURES HOWEVER...AS IT DRAGS ANOTHER COLD FRONT THROUGH
CENTRAL CA BEFORE DRY HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS ON SUNDAY.

HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE SOUTHERN SIERRA NEVADA...MAINLY ABOVE FL
070...CONTINUING THROUGH 06Z MONDAY DUE TO MID-LEVEL CLOUDS...WITH
SOME MTN OBSCURATIONS NEAR THE CREST. AREAS OF MVFR CEILINGS ALONG

CONTINUING THROUGH 18Z MONDAY. OTHERWISE...VFR CONDITIONS WILL
PREVAIL ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA INTERIOR THROUGH 00Z
