Severe (D2) drought conditions continued along and west of the Missouri River throughout November. Precipitation for the month and for the year was far below normal. Some locations only received a trace of precipitation for the month of November. Soil moisture anamolies were from 1.57 to 2.36 inches below normal and with the lack of snowcover, fire danger remained a concern.
