SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING
HOURS. WHILE WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT ANTICIPATED...AN
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM MAY PRODUCE HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF PENNIES
AND WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 50 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THUNDERSTORMS WILL AGAIN DEVELOP ALONG AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT
TOMORROW AFTERNOON. A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE...WITH
STRONG DAMAGING WINDS BEING THE PRIMARY HAZARD.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO SALEM AND ROANOKE BETWEEN 3:00
AND 4:00 PM EDT. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING VERY SLOWLY...
AND WILL LIKELY RESULT IN TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS. PONDING OF WATER
AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING IS LIKELY.

IN ADDITION TO THE RAIN...EXPECT FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND SMALL HAIL. FOR YOUR SAFETY...PLEASE MOVE INDOORS
