The Clay City gage malfunctioned during this event, with readings resuming most likely shortly after the crest. The highest reading recorded at the gage was 17.88 feet at 1730z on 1/24/06. From the falling hydrograph shape, the crest is estimated to have been between 18 and 19 feet sometime around 1000Z on 1/24/06.
