WIDESPREAD TWO-THREE INCHES OF RAINFALL ACROSS YOAKUM AND TERRY
COUNTIES ALONG WITH WTXM AND COOP REPORTS OF 5 INCHES+ OF RAIN
NEAR BROWNFIELD LED TO SOME LOCALIZED FLOODING.
MESOSCALE CIRCULATIONS SEEN IN SAT IMAGERY OVER SE NM AND WESTERN
PERMIAN BASIN ARE QUASI-STATIONARY AND WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE LIFT
FOR SCT REDEVELOPMENT OF TSTM ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT THE AFTN DESPITE ATMOS
BEING WORKED OVER. DO NOT EXPECT VIGOROUS TSTMS OR MORE CONCENTRATED
HVY RAINFALL HOWEVER WILL HAVE TO CLOSELY WATCH THE SW SPLNS DUE TO THE
SATURATED CONDITIONS. HAVE SLIGHTLY LOWERED TEMPS ACROSS THE AREA AS
CLOUD COVER REMAINS PERVASIVE AND ANY CLEARING SHOULD PRODUCE CONVECTION
