.DISCUSSION...
A CLOSED UPPER LOW OFF THE COAST WILL MOVE INLAND ACROSS NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA TODAY THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY. THE LOW IS EXPECTED TO BE WELL
INTO NEVADA SUNDAY AFTERNOON. UPPER WINDS WILL INCREASE FROM THE
SOUTHEAST THEN EAST TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT. A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS
WILL REMAIN MOST AREAS...ESPECIALLY OVER THE THE CASCADES...AS THE
ATMOSPHERE COOLS BUT REMAINS UNSTABLE. SUNDAY THE AREA GRADUALLY
DRIES OUT FROM WEST TO EAST BUT CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL
REMAIN OVER THE EAST IN WRAPAROUND FLOW AND DIMINISH INTO SUNDAY
NIGHT.

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY CONTINUES TO BE PORTRAYED AS DRY. HIGH
PRESSURE BUILDS IN MONDAY AND TUESDAY WITH TEMPS STILL ABOUT 3-6
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. A SHORT WAVE IN NORTHWEST FLOW LOOKS TO COME
THROUGH LATER TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY WHICH SHOULD BE MAINLY DRY...
BUT IT WILL SERVE TO COOL THINGS BACK TO NEAR NORMAL THROUGH LATER
IN THE WEEK. MS
