SHOWERS CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA THIS EVENING AS THE LOW MEANDERS OFF THE SOUTHERN OREGON COAST. THIS LOW IS EXPECTED TO MOVE SLOWLY TO THE SOUTH ON SUNDAY. AIR MASS IS EXPECTED TO BE UNSTABLE DUE TO DIFFLUENCE ALOFT AND A SERIES OF SHORT WAVES. EXPECTED SOME LIGHTNING STRIKES SUNDAY AFTERNOON OVER MOST OF OUR FORECAST AREA.
