A 30 foot section of the top of a tree was downed and became lodged into the windshield and hood of a car along Highway 22 in Section 5E of Traverse Township. Numerous tree branches were also downed nearby. In addition, several corn fields between St. Peter and Norseland were nearly destroyed by high winds. Flattened corn crops were also reported in Oshawa Township, Traverse Township, and rural St. George.
