A fast moving weak low pressure moved through the Ohio Valley and produced a widespread light snowfall across most of the region, with accumulations around 1 inch. The snow resulted in slippery spots on untreated roads. The fatality occurred on U.S. route 30 in eastern Kosciusko County, IN. A 69 year old male lost control of his pickup truck on a patch of ice and rammed into a guard rail.
