.SHORT TERM (TONIGHT-SUN)...ETA/NAM HAS BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH
RUN-TO-RUN CONSISTENCY. LATEST RUN SHOWS MOSTLY EASTERLY FLOW OVER
THE STATE FOR THIS AFTERNOON...HOWEVER OBSERVATIONS SHOW ONSHORE
FLOW ON BOTH COASTS WITH LIGHT WINDS IN THE INTERIOR. WILL BASE
THIS FORECAST CYCLE ON THE MUCH MORE CONSISTENT GFS WHICH HAS GOOD
DEPICTION OF SEA BREEZE EACH DAY.

SURFACE RIDGE AXIS WILL MOVE EVER SO SLOWLY NORTH THIS WEEKEND...
BUT STILL REMAINING WEAK AND GENERALLY SOUTH OF THE BAY AREA. THIS
MEANS CONTINUED LIGHT AND MOSTLY VARIABLE WINDS WITH LOCAL LAND AND
GULF BREEZES BEING THE MAIN DRIVER. STEERING FLOW WILL BE WEAK AS
WELL...BUT INITIAL SCATTERED/40 POP ACTIVITY NEAR INITIAL SEA
BREEZE BOUNDARY WILL MOVE INLAND WHERE EAST COAST SEA BREEZE AND
MULTIPLE BOUNDARY COLLISIONS WILL RESULT IN AT LEAST 50 POPS FOR
OUR INTERIOR COUNTIES EACH DAY.

TEMPERATURES SHOULD BE WITHIN A DEGREE OR TWO OF NORMALS AND WILL
ONLY MAKE MINOR TWEAKS HERE AND THERE.
