Heavy lake effect snow showers developed during the morning of the 28th. In the snowbelts of Northwest Lower Michigan, around 6 inches of snow fell in the Elmira area before things tapered off in the evening.

In the snowbelts of Northwest Lower Michigan, around 6 inches of snow fell in the Elmira area before things tapered off in the evening. In Chippewa County in Upper Michigan, 6 to 12 inches of new snow fell at Paradise and Point Iroquois.
