A vigorous Pacific storm system that moved eastward into Idaho from Eastern Oregon during the late afternoon and across Southwestern Idaho during the night left behind heavy snow in the Westcentral and Boise Mountains of Idaho. Snow Fall amounts of five to 10 inches with up to a foot or more in the higher elevation were common across the area.
