A fire burned about 200 acres of brush in an area 3.5 miles south of Makawao on the island of Maui. The fire caused no serious injuries or property damage, but did come close to several homes in Omaopio. Fire officials said that the blaze appeared to have been deliberately set.

PRESSURE DOMINATES TO OUR NORTH. WHILE SHOWERS WILL PRIMARILY AFFECT
WINDWARD AND MAUKA SECTIONS OF THE ISLANDS...WE WILL SEE SOME
TROPICAL MOISTURE MOVE OVER THE ISLANDS MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY OF
THIS WEEK...AND SOME SHOWERS COULD SPILL OVER TO LEE SECTIONS THEN.
HUMIDITIES WILL ALSO BE HIGHER...MAKING THE WEATHER FEEL A BIT MORE
UNCOMFORTABLY WARM THAN IS USUAL FOR OUR TRADE SWEPT ISLANDS.

A 1030 MB HIGH IS FORECAST TO STRENGTHEN TO 1035 MB NEAR 40N NORTH
OF THE STATE THIS WEEK. THIS WILL MAINTAIN MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY
FRESH TRADE WINDS OVER THE STATE. A COUPLE OF WEAK INVERTED TROUGHS
MOVING WEST IN THIS TRADE FLOW WILL BRING TROPICAL MOISTURE TO THE
ISLANDS AT TIMES HOWEVER. THE FIRST...REMNANTS OF TROPICAL
DEPRESSION DARBY...WILL MOVE THROUGH THE ISLANDS MONDAY AND
TURSDAY...EVENTUALLY TURNING OUR WIND FLOW SOUTHEASTERLY ON
WEDNESDAY AND KEEPING MOIST TROPICAL AIR OVER THE ISLANDS THROUGH
THIS PERIOD. THE SECOND TROUGH...REMNANTS OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION
SIX-E...WILL MOVE INTO THE STATE FOR THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL AGAIN
BRING AN INCREASE IN SHOWERS...MAINLY TO WINDWARD AND MAUKA
SECTIONS...BUT ALSO AN INCREASE IN MOISTURE IN THE FORM OF
