POPS MAINLY AFTERNOON AND EVENING TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. POPS LOWER
JUST A BIT STARTING THURSDAY. LATEST GFS RUN WEAKENED THE LATE
SUMMER COLD FRONT WHICH LAST NIGHTS RUN HAD STRENGTHENED. NOW LOOKS
LIKE IT WILL WASH OUT JUST AS APPROACHING OUR CWA. PREVIOUS
FORECAST MAINTAINED CLOSE TO NORMAL TRENDS SO FEW ADJUSTMENTS
NEEDED. NEXT TROPICAL SYSTEM MAY BE ENTERING THE GULF AROUND NEXT

A tropical wave moved inland along the mid Texas Coast late on August 25 and continued westward to into the Texas Hill Country on the following day. Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed in the morning and persisted through the afternoon. The highest rain totals were concentrated in Gillespie County, which received a general 1 inch rain, with isolated totals of up to 4inches in the southeast part of the county. Brief flash flooding took place in the late afternoon.
