ISOLATED SEVERE STORM IN OSAGE COUNTY HAS DEVELOPED AHEAD OF THE
LOW/MID-LEVEL CYCLONE THAT IS TRACKING DOWN THE OKLAHOMA / KANSAS
BORDER.  CAPES OF 500-1000 J/KG WILL PERSIST AHEAD OF THE LOW
THROUGH SUNSET.  THE BEST DEEP LAYER SHEAR IS ON THE OUTTER
PERIPHERY OF THE CYCLONE.  THE OSAGE COUNTY CELL IS IN THE HIGHER
SHEAR AND SHOWS SOME DECENT STRUCTURE AND SOME CELL ROTATION.

OVERALL AN ISOLATED SEVERE CELL OR TWO IS POSSIBLE ACROSS FAR
NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA THROUGH SUNSET.  EXTREME NORTHWEST ARKANSAS MAY
BECOME INVOLVED JUST BEFORE SUNSET.

HAIL AND DOWNBURSTS WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREAT DUE TO THE COLD POOL
ALOFT AND DRY LOW-LEVELS.

THIS OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS WELL AS
MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY

ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON
AND EARLY THIS EVENING AS AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM MOVES ACROSS
SOUTHERN KANSAS AND NORTHERN OKLAHOMA. THE MAIN THREAT FROM THESE
STORMS WILL BE LARGE HAIL.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHWESTERN
ARKANSAS ALONG THE DRYLINE BEFORE MOVING RAPIDLY EAST OUT OF THE
AREA.

THE THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH TONIGHT MAINLY
OVER THE NORTHERN PART OF THE AREA AS THE UPPER SYSTEM MOVES BY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
DRY AND PLEASANT WEATHER IS EXPECTED FOR THE FIRST PART OF THE
WEEKEND WITH THUNDERSTORM CHANCES RETURNING BY SUNDAY AND CONTINUING
THROUGH MUCH OF THE UPCOMING WEEK.
