SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA TODAY AND THIS
EVENING...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA...WEST
CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF
EXTREME SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
REDEVELOP AFTER 2PM OVER NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA AND SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA LIFTING NORTHEAST INTO SOUTHERN PARTS OF THE REGION. THE
FAVORED AREA FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL BE SOUTH OF A LINE FROM LISBON
NORTH DAKOTA TO WADENA MINNESOTA. THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE LARGE
HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. WITH RECENT HEAVY RAINS SOILS ARE
SATURATED AND ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RESULT IN FLOODING
PROBLEMS. AS A RESULT A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR
EXTREME SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA INTO
WEDNESDAY MORNING.
