FORECAST FOCUS WILL BE ON TSRA THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.
WITH DELAYED AND/OR NON EXISTENT MODEL DATA DUE TO PROBLEMS IN D.C.
WILL USE THE SMORGASBOARD OF DATA CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ALONG WITH THE
EXISTING FORECAST FOR TODAYS PACKAGE.
NOT MUCH CHANGE IN OVERALL PATTERN OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. LOOKING
AT THE SURFACE CHART JUDGING BY DEWPOINTS THE FRONT APPEARS TO BE
BACK IN SOUTHERN WI AND ERN IA. HPC MANUAL PROGS HAVE THIS FRONT
DOWN TO INDY BY THIS AFTERNOON. LIS ARE -6 TO -8 WITH CAPES AROUND
4200 J/KG AND THE CAP THAT WAS OVER US YESTERDAY HAS DECREASED TO
AROUND 8C EFFECTIVELY ELIMINATING SAID CAP. THEREFORE WILL KEEP
SCATTERED TSRA IN FORECAST THROUGH TONIGHT. AS THE CDFNT MOVES
SOUTH WILL KEEP CHANCE POPS IN SOUTHERN ZONES TONIGHT. ON
THURS/THURS NITE A WMFNT MOVES NORTH THROUGH THE CWA BRINGING
ANOTHER ROUND OF TSRA. NO CHANGES MADE TO EXTENDED WITH LACK OF
DATA.
