Heavy rain was reported across Saipan during the morning.This resulted in flooding of the NMI Museum. The interior was floodedwith mud and water. There was no damage to important artifacts. A little over five inches of rain was recorded by the Automated Weather Observing (ASOS) instrument at the Saipan international airport on this date.
