A series of disturbances moved across western Colorado resulting in significant snowfall across the high valleys of northwest Colorado. Snowfall amounts ranged from 3 to 12 inches across much of the Yampa River Basin with the highest snowfall amounts occurring in the vicinity of Steamboat Springs where a local accumulation of 21 inches was measured.
