UPDATE TO ZONES/GRIDS TO INCLUDE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 959 AND
TO INCLUDE LARGE HAIL IN GRIDDED PRODUCTS. COLD POOL AT UPPER LEVEL
COMBINED WITH SUNSHINE OVER SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS WILL LEAD TO
INCREASINGLY UNSTABLE CONDITIONS. MAIN CONCERN WITH THESE STORMS
WILL BE LARGE HAIL.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS ARKANSAS THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. AN UPPER LEVEL LOW WILL MOVE INTO THE STATE
WITH VERY COLD AIR ALOFT. A COLD FRONT WILL ACCOMPANY THIS LOW ACROSS
ARKANSAS. THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE FRONT AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS MAY RANDOMLY DEVELOP. LARGE HAIL WILL BE THE MAIN
SEVERE WEATHER. ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. THE
CHANCE OF SEVERE WEATHER SHOULD DIMINISH EARLY TONIGHT WITH THE
LOSS OF HEATING AND THE MOVEMENT OF THE FRONT OUT OF THE AREA.

PEOPLE ACROSS ARKANSAS ARE ADVISED TO CONTINUE MONITORING THE
WEATHER TODAY. LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND FORECASTS FOR THE
