WAITING FOR SCTD SVR CONVECTION TO GET GOING THIS AFTN IN THE
WEST...WHILE MORE ORGANIZED CONVECTION ROLLS ACROSS THE MIDWEST
ASSOC WITH FRONT AND GOOD JET DYNAMICS.  WILL KEEP CHC TO LIKELY
POPS IN FOR TONIGHT...BUT MAINLY FOR THE EVENING HOURS.

FRONT BRINGS THE BULK OF PCPN TO THE REGION TMRW...WITH TIMING OF
FROPA FAIRLY SIMILAR ON BOTH ETA AND AVN...HOWEVER THERE IS A PRETTY
LARGE DIFF IN THE AMOUNT OF COOL/DRY AIR THEY BRING IN FOR FRIDAY
AND THE WEEKEND WITH THE ETA THE WARMEST.  ETA MORE PRONOUNCED WITH
THE PRES WEAKNESS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN SPINE OF THE APPS...AND IS
HINTING AT SCTD CONVECTION DEVELOPING AGAIN ACROSS WESTERN NC FRI
AFTN.  WILL NOT PUT ANY POPS IN DOWN THERE AT THIS POINT.

MUCH OF THE EXTENDED IS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF HIGH PRES NOSING INTO
THE MID ATLANTIC...WHILE THERE ARE INDICATIONS THAT THE FRONT NEXT
WEEK MAY BE A BIT SLOWER THAN ORGINALLY THOUGHT.  WILL KEEP THINGS
DRY THRU MONDAY...BUT WILL KEEP CHC MON NGT AND TUE AND ADD TO WED.
