SCATTERED SHOWERS ACROSS THE SERN 1/5 OF THE CWA AT MID MORNING...
WITH PATCHES OF DRIZZLE AND LIGHT RAIN ELSEWHERE. THE MAIN FORECAST
ISSUES ARE POPS...QPF...AND THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH. THE 00Z GFS IS BY
FAR THE BEST PERFORMING MODEL IN TERMS OF VERIFYING AT 12Z.
HOWEVER...ITS QPF FOCUS IS TOO FAR OFFSHORE IN THE NWRN GULF.
ACCORDINGLY...WILL DROP THE FFA EXCEPT FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHEAST.
WILL ALSO MAKE MINOR ADJUSTMENTS FOR TEMPS AND WINDS.

.EWX...FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR FAYETTE...GONZALES...LAVACA...DEWITT
       AND KARNES COUNTIES THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

TO MOST OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS TODAY.  LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL
LIKELY FILL QUICKLY AND FLASH FLOODING WILL BECOME A SERIOUS
PROBLEM.  FOR FURTHER DETAILS PLEASE REFER TO THE FLOOD WATCH
PRODUCT ISSUED BY THIS OFFICE AT 440 AM.
