SURFACE WINDS GET AROUND TO THE NORTHWEST LATE IN THE DAY MONDAY BUT
MOISTURE SEEMS TO BE A LITTLE DEEPER IN BEHIND BOUNDARY RATHER THAN AHEAD.

Newspaper story related story about strong thunderstorm winds striking Water Valley and blowing down 6 large trees. An apple tree came down on a barn. Also, a 200-year-old oak tree was blown down. 8 trees fell on Turkey Creek Road and 6 trees fell on Field Hollow Rd. Several utility poles and power lines were blown down as well. A gutter and a tin roof was damaged to a home near Field Hollow Rd. Two, almost 100-year old trees, fell near Field Hollow Rd.
