SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEEN MOVING ACROSS PARTS OF THE NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS OVERNIGHT. SOME LOCATIONS HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED HEAVY SHOWERS...BUT WITH DRY CONDITIONS AND LOW STREAM FLOW...IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME BEFORE HEAVY RAIN BECOMES A PROBLEM.
