.SHORT TERM...VALID FOR TDY...SUN...MON...
CHANGES TO ZFP...AND TO AFP. ACTIVE DAY SETTING UP FOR MONTANA AS
WATER VAPOR IMAGERY SHOWING SHORTWAVE TROUGH PUSHING THROUGH PACIFIC
NORTHWEST AND HEADING TOWARD MONTANA. BY AFTERNOON COLD FRONT WILL BEGIN
PUSHING THROUGH CWA...AND WILL RESULT IN BOTH SEVERE AND FIRE WX
CONCERNS. SOME STORMS WILL DEVELOP AHEAD OF COLD FRONT IN STRONG LIFT AS
THE CAP ERODES. WILL TWEAK POPS SOME...AND WILL LEAVE IN SEVERE MENTION
EAST OF BILLINGS...AS MAIN THREAT FROM THESE STORMS IN SOUTHERN MONTANA
WILL BE STRONG WINDS...WITH LARGE DEW POINT DEPRESSIONS AND VERY HIGH
WET BULB ZERO HEIGHTS. THE STORMS SHOULD CLEAR OUT OF EASTERN ZONES BY
LATE EVENING AS COLD FRONT PUSHES EAST. STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL
DEVELOP BEHIND COLD FRONT AND INTENSIFYING SURFACE LOW ACROSS CENTRAL
AND EASTERN ZONES LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. WILL BUMP WINDS A
LITTLE HIGHER IN CENTRAL ZONES THROUGH LATE THIS EVENING...WHILE WINDS
WILL STAY UP MOST OF THE NIGHT IN THE EAST. JZ

.LONG TERM...VALID FOR TUE...WED...THU...FRI...

LARGE TROUGH OFF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST WILL PROVIDE FOR A
SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT...RESULTING IN UNSETTLED WEATHER THROUGH FRIDAY. IN
ADDITION...A FEW WAVES WILL KICK EASTWARD OUT OF THE TROUGH. THIS IS A
FAVORABLE PATTERN FOR THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY. AS IS THE CASE WITH THIS
TYPE OF PATTERN...TIMING AND EXACT PLACEMENT OF WAVES IS UNCERTAIN.
THEREFORE...WILL LEAVE CURRENT PACKAGE AS IS AND MAKE NO CHANGES AT THIS
