RIVER VALLEY BUT TRAINING THUNDERSTORMS ARE APPROACHING ON SEVERAL
FRONTS AT WEST/SOUTHWEST SIDE OF CWA. BELIEVE THE AVN WAS MOST
CORRECT IN PLACEMENT OF HEAVIEST RAIN TONIGHT BUT FLOOD WATCH IN
EFFECT THROUGHOUT REGION IS STILL VALID WITH SATURATED SOILS IN
ABUNDANCE. WILL LEAVE ZONES BASICALLY ALONE BUT WILL ADD EMPHASIS
ON FLOOD POTENTIAL AS NONE WAS INCLUDED EARLIER.

Trees and powerlines were blown down, boats and trailers were flipped over, and fences were pushed over by the strong wind.
Many large trees were snapped off or uprooted near Norris Camp.
Numerous large trees were snapped off or uprooted in the Beltrami Island State Forest.
The Baudette ASOS reported a 59 mph wind gust. Many trees were blown down. A storage center sustained major damage when all its sheet metal was torn off and blown across the nearby highway. The flying debris snapped power poles along the highway.
Strong winds destroyed a hangar, damaged an airplane and boat inside, and knocked out power to the airport. The airport beacon and beacon tower were also knocked over.
