Red Lake county received heavy rainfall on the 9th and 10th and again on the 22nd and 23rd, which led to many flooding problems. The NWS cooperative observer station in Red Lake Falls reported 11.21 inches of rain for the month, all falling after the first week of the month. 7.54 inches of rain fell on the 9th and 10th, and led to the most problems. The county received a Presidential disaster declaration.
